I am Spike Gabio, an artist and Data Scientist exploring the space where analog gesture, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and on-chain memory meet.
My work is built around a central idea: the artwork is not only the final image, but the visible trace of a process. A drawing, a color field, a digital mutation, an AI assisted image, an animation or a minted token are all stages of the same journey.
For me, creation is fluid while it happens. It moves, changes, fails, mutates and surprises. But when it is saved, rendered or minted, that movement becomes a permanent trace. In this sense, the token is not only ownership. It is the witness of the process.
My artistic practice moves between intuition and computation. I often begin with analog marks, colors, textures or emotional images, then transform them through digital tools, artificial intelligence and animation. I use AI as a creative instrument: not as a replacement for the artist, but as a space of dialogue between human intention and machine imagination.
My background as a Data Scientist shapes the way I think about art. I am fascinated by systems, patterns, emergence, memory and transformation. This dual identity allows me to work between gesture and algorithm, feeling and structure, image and data.
